Description
In this lesson, students will explore the meaning of the word migrate and the reasons that people may migrate. They will conduct an interview with a family member or friend to hear a personal account of migration. Students will learn how to map a migration path, and determine the distance traveled. Students will also look at how culture connects with places our families have lived. This lesson contains adaptations for diverse learners (ELLs).Duration
