What's Holding Up the Water?

Description

The U.S. Department of Reclamation often oversees the construction of dams. One of its first major projects was Roosevelt Dam completed in Arizona in 1911. In this lesson, students will learn about dams in general and Roosevelt Dam in particular. This lesson contains strategies for diverse learners (ELLs).
