La Frontera is the Spanish word for frontier. The United States-Mexicoborderland is unique in the sense that it has shifted
over time, but still has an impact on the policies of
both nations. In this lesson students will use maps, visuals, and written text to raise their awareness of the U.S.-Mexico borderlands.
