Description
A motivational tool to engage students in solving problems is the use of lock boxes or break out boxes. In this lesson, students will read sections of the book Talking Walls by Margy Burns Knight and use information from the readings to answer questions. If their solution is correct, then they will unlock one of 4 locks on the box. When all of the locks are opened, students have learned about famous walls throughout the world and will gain a stamp for their passport.
